Oireachtas committees really should not be blockbuster affairs. When all is going smoothly, meetings of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) do not tend to be particularly exciting.

Between the likes of RTÉ, the University of Limerick, and now the Football Association of Ireland (FAI), PAC hearings are not dull at the moment.
