Recent court closures have gone beyond what is rational, says John P Shaw.

THE cuts in funding to government services since the start of the economic crisis have been the subject of enormous analysis and debate, and rightly so.

However, the reductions in funding of the justice system and the consequences of those cuts has received just a fraction of our public attention.
