Maybe next time I will just have to leave him hanging

ENDA took me by surprise.

It’s always a dilemma when someone springs a high five on you without warning. Do you keep your dignity and leave them hanging, or do you go through with the cringe-inducing ritual to save them embarrassment?

Normally I would have no hesitation in doing the former and just pretending the whole unpleasant incident never actually happened, but when the Taoiseach puts you in that position it is more problematic.
