Why shoppers should support Tesco staff

Tesco management have been attempting to “convince” staff employed before 1995 to relinquish their contracts in favour of contracts which will lower their income and reduce their established entitlements.

Recently their union issued staff with rubber wrist bands stating “Tesco workers together”.

Staff have been informed by management that wearing these bands is construed as “bullying in the workplace”. Irish people should be aware of this attitude of management.
