Export growth makes no difference to homeless

I read “Figures show what can be achieved — Record export growth” (Irish Examiner, Editorial February 16) with interest.

The figures are amazing. May I have your permission to print off copies and distribute them to the homeless in doorways and to the people on hospital trolleys and to the dispossessed whose homes are in the hands of foreign vulture funds?

If you can let me know who the beneficiaries of this success will be, I will gladly add that information.

And, by the way, you failed to mention that the debt of this ‘great little country’ stands at €200bn with an annual interest demand of €10bn.
