Howlin could act on political pensions

Brendan Howlin has repeatedly stated that he can do nothing about the controversial increases in pensions due to ex-Taoisigh, Ministers and TDs under the Lansdowne Rd Agreement.

What he can do is introduce legislation which would put a cap on such future increases.
