Celebrating sacrifice and giving up sovereignty

How ironic it is that we will be "celebrating" the 100th anniversary of the Easter Rising and the sacrifices made by men and women so Ireland could forge her destiny.

“The fools, the fools”, they celebrate our sacrifices while surrendering the sovereignty and independence of Ireland to an all-controlling dictatorship at the heart of Europe.They celebrate our anniversary as they collude with a dictatorship that demands we divest our country of natural resources. They pander to the banks and vested interests with little regard for the common good nor the common man. And tragically, with no regard for the lessons of history.
