Open our churches to refugees and homeless
On one hand, we need to show respect to those who are here already by allowing them to work.
On the other hand, we must open our doors to those who had to leave their native soil because of the fear unleashed on their homelands by terrorists.
Could I make an outrageous suggestion to meet an outrageous situation: Could our underused places of worship be opened up to our own poor and homeless as well as to incoming refugees?
