Hogan’s attitude is not unlike that of a child

Your front page article (Irish Examiner, August 17) quoting the Fine Gael chief whip Paul Kehoe as saying that Phil Hogan won’t apologise for the Irish Water debacle since former Fianna Fáil ministers have also not apologised for their mistakes, sounds childish in the extreme.

Hogan’s attitude is not unlike that of a child

How can a person elected to to run the country as a TD in the Dáil and then sent to represent us in Europe as a commissioner think on this level?

Such an attitude belongs in a playground.
