Newspapers report that John Gilligan, in his current challenge to the sale of property in Ireland, has access to three barristers and three junior barristers, all on legal aid, paid for by the Irish taxpayer.

Gilligan should not be able to access legal aid

It is ridiculous to justify this expenditure on a convicted criminal, at a time when the elderly, young and sick are suffering because of austerity.
