Vote ‘yes’ on behalf of our gay emigrants

Today, we will be given the right to vote on equality in Ireland. This makes me so proud to be Irish and proud that our little, but mighty, country has so progressed that this issue is reaching a referendum.

Vote ‘yes’ on behalf of our gay emigrants

‘Coming out’ in Toronto is a another world: Everyone is the same, nobody sees any difference and it is truly beautiful to live and breathe it everyday.

I cherish this city, and Canada, for many reasons, but this is one of them and I feel this, too, is what everyone wants to feel at home in Galway and all over Ireland.

Don’t hate the ‘no’ voters. Someone has to show them how to see humanity and happiness in harmony.

I’m not able to make it home to vote, so please vote ‘yes’ for me. I know my family is voting yes.
