People of Limerick have cleaned the city for all

Volunteerism is an essential antidote to litter, but for it to be sustainable it must be married to appropriate cleaning systems, enforcement and infrastructure, which are the responsibility of the city council.
This needs to be undertaken for all areas of the city, not just those which attract footfall from tourism and business — indeed, the more disadvantaged areas of Limerick will be a particular focus of our surveys this year.
