The bashing of Fianna Fáil in your Letters page on Friday March 6 is outrageous in the context of a week where the Fine Gael-led government rejected yet again measures put forward by Fianna Fáil to protect those struggling to avoid homelessness.

The track record of Fianna Fáil is that of supporting through education and opportunity. The record of FG is to walk over the sick, the elderly and the disabled.

These are facts, the letter you published was no more than self indulgent spin.
