Political appointments to judiciary must stop

The recent arrests of protestors shows the lengths the Government will go to, and how desperate they are, to discredit protesting citizens.

This latest development which sees gardai doing the dirty work of the Government is further evidence why political appointments in the public sector and judiciary should stop.

But it will never happen — Fine Gael, Fianna Fail, Labour and Sinn Fein will never stop this cronyism in politics. Please note I support gardai on the street who are doing their job, they shouldn’t be subject to verbal abuse.
