Bailed-out banks have no regard for customers

When huge amounts of of tax-payer money was poured into our banks we were told we were all share-holders.

Bailed-out banks have no regard for customers

So, as part-owner and long-time customer of those banks, I’m insulted by how I am being treated. My local branch has been revamped: when you enter, you see a row of machines and not a human face in sight. Only one teller at a time can serve customers. One morning this week, I stood in a queue, and with no teller available for 15 minutes and no apology from anybody.

Later that day, I phoned the credit card section of that bank and was left holding for 20 minutes, listening to a machine apologising for keeping me waiting. I refuse to accept this de-humanisation in the name of progress and will continue to look for proper customer service.
