Bantry Bay salmon production is safe

I refer to the article ‘Pesticides threaten shellfish industry’ (Irish Examiner, October 20).

Marine Harvest, referenced here, has never ever used the two pesticides referred to (teflubenzuron and diflubenzuron) in our organic salmon production in Bantry Bay.

It is also incorrect to say our planned facility as Shot Head would only employ two members of staff.
