Spending a penny in Cork proves difficult

I am a 65-year-old lady who decided to take a day trip to Cork on Nov 26, mainly to visit Marks & Spencer.

I discovered that the ‘Ladies’ in Merchants Quay centre is under renovation. I tried Debenhams — absolutely jam packed.

I was en route to St Peter & Paul’s Church to 12.30 Mass when I spotted a bar and went in and asked if I could use the facilities. I was told no, the floor is wet, it’s not available.
