Jobless should get polling positions

The polling stations for the recent referendums have once again not been manned by the unemployed.

The same old gang are there every time there is a vote and getting paid for it, and in many cases have to take time off work to man them.

The fact that familiar faces are there every time there is a vote is deterring people from voting and one gets the feeling that their noses are at them.
