We’re still milking an old notion about jobs

We’re still milking an old notion about jobs

When they feel the need they wander into the milking parlour, pick any old stall, are identified by the system, have their udders cleaned and disinfected and milking machine attached, are fed the scientifically selected diet to maximise their output, are checked for any disease or injury and wander back out to pasture when all is done. Not a cowman or milkmaid in sight; all is done by technology.

And yet the crazy notion is out there that technology does not eliminate work and we can create jobs in the old historic way to successfully combat mass unemployment.
