Don’t use Seanad vote as tantrum against Enda

The media coverage of the Seanad debate amounts to: forget about the issues involved in the abolition of the Seanad.

Those issues have been around since independence and nobody in the political class, media, or electorate lost any sleep about them. We have another 90 years to talk about ‘reform’.

Anyway, the Government is ‘cynical’. It is enforcing austerity, etc.
