Extreme reaction

Except by happy coincidence, no committee of unaccountable, posturing bureaucrats anywhere will ever come up with anything sensible for the long-term good of their country.

Even so, to label Edward Snowden’s courage as spying is pretty extreme even for US bureaucrats.

It is the equivalent of accusing all charity organisations of subversion for continually showing up governments’ inadequacies.
