Has Mr Shatter considered abolishing the garda force altogether?

Look how much he’d save and then we would see the fear factor spread out, as it would not be only those in rural Ireland who are afraid of every outside noise when they know there is no policeman in the vicinity. This Government and all politicians are quick off the mark when telling us “we must all share the pain”. What better way to show early results.
