Costly job creation

With the usual government-coordinated media fanfare whenever a government achieves anything at all, I just heard that 100 jobs had been ‘created’ in Limerick “thanks to the efforts of the IDA and the Ministry of Enterprise”.

Costly job creation

Given the multi-million euro costs of the IDA and that ministry and their custom of bribing companies to come to Ireland, it would be interesting for some student to calculate how much each job cost us.
