RTÉ hypocrisy taken to its limits

The irony of RTÉ’s concern over the state of our country is hypocrisy taken to its limits, due to that organisation being at the forefront of waste and expenditure.

We now have the same old circus back again where it takes two to read the Six One News.

Surely, instead of this hour slot being given to the subtle promotion of Dublin, the provinces should have a slot within that hour to give exposure to their respective news and attractions?

The time has come where those who represent the provinces, plus provincial organisations, must stand up and demand the inclusion of their respective areas, in this news slot.

The establishment of RTÉ, and its stable of stations displays a contempt for areas outside Dublin, and seems to have a monopoly position in Ireland.

This situation displays a serious flaw within the BAI, and exposes their negligence in allowing this one-way broadcasting in Ireland.

The regional radio stations are confined to their particular respective areas, however, it seems Dublin radio stations are given licences to broadcast throughout Ireland.
