Martin’s defence of unborn child commendable
The Lisbon Treaty was passed only at the second attempt, following assurances from the Government of legal guarantees preventing closer political union with Europe from compromising Ireland’s right to determine its own policies on abortion.
I salute him for his consistency in maintaining the right to life as something that Fianna Fáil believe in as a political party.
