Cameron right on stance over EU
He believes Britain, which is outside the Eurozone, experiences “too much” Europe, too much cost, too much bureaucracy and too much meddling in issues that belong to nation states or civil society overall.
David Cameron’s statement may be an understatement. Some laws passed by the EU make no sense whatsoever. Irish politicians rarely contest any regulation put forward by Brussels. As the EU regime is based on communist ideals, some of our leading Labour politicians will do anything that they are told. It may not be long before farmer Brown will be able to have a civil union partnership with Billy the goat!
There are many young politicians who are willing to stand up for the Irish people, but their voices are being drowned out by a small number of older politicians who are more interested in saving their excessive wages and pensions.
As with the Nice and Lisbon treaties, the Irish electorate were bullied and harassed into voting yes on the recent fiscal referendum. It held a promise of employment and stability. The treaty itself has brought no additional employment or stability. There will be more referendums further down the line.
