Reform advice won’t cost Hogan a cent
He is demanding local authorities become more efficient.
I will offer this advice free of charge — no more consultancy fees and multi-million euro reports that are never implemented! All we need are four regional authorities — not one in each town like the present set up — Munster, Connaught and Donegal, Leinster and Dublin due to population. Elect all managers to run these four councils, do away with councillors and mayors.
Do away with the Senate. Then get rid of all junior ministers and allow ordinary TDs in Government to do that job. Cut the number of TDs by 40, cut pay by 30%, plus pensions.
