During the coming week I am required to pay €100 household charge and €160 TV licence.

I feel the household charge will go towards alleviating the burden our generation has imposed on our children and grandchildren, while the TV licence fee goes to support the wealthy and cosseted in RTÉ.

Would it not be fairer and more productive to switch payments?
