City being ruined by filthy, anti-social people
But each time I visit I am appalled at the filth of the city and the anti-social behaviour of some of the inhabitants.
Last weekend, in the time it took to walk from Emmet Place to the Mall, mid-afternoon, I observed two separate groups of males, squatting on the pavement, drinking cans of alcohol and swearing loudly, a young man aggressively berating his female companion and then accosting passersby. I was approached by a female, smelling of alcohol, who asked me for “change”.
