A question of fairness

If a sewage system in urban areas is repaired, new pipes fitted or updated to a more modern system, it would be paid for by the State or by the tax payers in general.

A question of fairness

People like me living outside an urban area are expected to fund the repair or maintenance of our own system even though we pay taxes the same as everyone else. After all, we saved the State millions going back over many years by providing our own when the State wouldn’t. It stands to reason that sewage systems or septic tanks outside the urban areas should be funded in the same way as our urban citizens.

That would be fair.
