Health insurance ban

Seán McCárthaigh’s report (Irish Examiner, Feb 11) on the predicted increase in cancer cases and the danger that cutbacks might impact negatively on those that fall ill to the disease makes for worrying reading.

It is clear from the piece that it is only those that are depending on the public service who need to be concerned.

May I suggest an incentive that might focus the attention of our politicians on this vital issue?
