Euro exit option should be included in amendments

THERE was no exit clause built into the euro, which has partly led to the situation the EU finds itself in today.

Will the fiscal proposals under negotiation include a possible default clause, which would allow any of the 16 euro members a viable alternative, to the benefit of both the individual country and to those countries that remain?

Such prudent planning instead of the ‘all-or-nothing strategy’ would reduce the pressures exerted by the unaccountable and undemocratic market forces.

If such a clause will not be included, could the reason be explained in an open and clear manner by those representing us in Europe?
