Some years ago we, as a nation, were asked to vote in a referendum, whether or not we would like to adopt the Lisbon Treaty, and we rejected it first time around. As this did not suit the powers that be it was put to us again, only this time it was explained more clearly by those selling us this “pig in a poke”.

We were promised a unified Europe, a strong Europe, a Europe where the opinions and needs of the weakest of this united European family would carry as much sway as those of the strongest.
