Norris a much-needed change from the norm

DAVID NORRIS should be given the opportunity to have his name on the ballot paper.

You are not being forced to vote for him, but looking at the Irish people’s past record on voting in undesirables, idiots and hillbillies, makes me wonder (or should I say worry) now about the possibility of a former IRA member becoming president.

Mr Norris is not perfect and, like the rest of us, he made mistakes.
