Keeping public toilets clean a boost for tourism

A CONSTANT complaint visitors to our country make is about the poor state of our public toilets in our towns and villages.

However, having spent a few days last week on holidays to Kinsale I was pleasantly surprised on how well kept were the public toilets in the town.

The person or persons who keep these toilets in such pristine condition should be given an award by Tourism Ireland as an example of how public toilets should be kept in every town in the country.
