Royal visit paving way for invasion of liberty

NOW that the queen is visiting the door has swung wide open for the State to invade people’s liberty and violate their constitutional rights.

All kinds of information is been sought from doorsteps by gardaí in what can only be described as the census part two with an extra kick.

It is also more than a co-incidence that the visit has been lined up so close to the door knockers who conducted the census, in the hope that people will be more used to giving personal information. There seems to be no consideration whatsoever for the citizens’ rights, where gardaí demand constitutionally-protected rights such as privacy as if they had a God-given right to it.
