State of our roads are an utter disgrace

I AM writing to you to express my views about the state of roads in Cork at the moment.

State of our roads are an utter disgrace

I live down a small road in the country which is now nearly impassible due to huge potholes. This road may be a small quiet road but the problems with the roads do not stop here. Many main roads I travel daily are in a terrible condition. This is not acceptable as people are paying huge road taxes but are still getting this bad quality of roads. This problem should be sorted by our local politicians but when they are approached they say everyone is complaining about it and they can’t fix all the roads. If everyone is complaining, why don’t they put more money and effort into it and stop people complaining?

These bad road conditions are leading to car parts breaking and tyres being destroyed. This costs people even more money on top of the high car tax. If anyone feels the same way as I do, please don’t just keep driving on these bad roads, complain to your local authorities.
