Gardaí must apologise

IN your article regarding the gardaí rape comments, the journalist stated that the gardaí involved were “devastated” by the incident and intended “no malice”.

They are probably devastated that they were caught, instead they should feel shame for the damage they have caused. Women and rape victims will not feel safe in Mayo or any part of Ireland until they fully apologise and make amends to the protesters and the public.
