Call time on patron saint of boozing
Our yobs and lager louts get sick all over the place and will urinate on your shoes if you’re unlucky enough to be near them when they finish with the pub or the off-licence.
One can clearly see drink glasses and pools of vomit left all over our cities, for what is now becoming the most disgraceful and environmentally unfriendly holiday we have.
One the following day, you can actually smell the alcohol in the air left by our national shindig who think it is cool and proud to drink in public. If the sun shines brightly the smell of the vomit leaves you in no doubt that binge-drinking was the order of the day along with the remains of a takeaway that was not taken away.
The festival should be completely abandoned because many people have now realised that it has more to do with alcohol and thugs than anything else.
America has also copped on to the fact that it is a booze-holiday related to the Irish culture and are beginning to cool-off, because of problems associated with drink.
It is high time we said farewell to St Patrick, the patron saint of the lowlife and drunken Irish yob.
