Scrap carbon tax

THE first move our new government must make in any attempt to kick start the economy is to get rid of the carbon tax introduced by the Greens and reduce excise on motor and heating fuels.

Otherwise many motorists will be forced off the road, leading to further losses in motor taxes, maintenance charges etc. High transport costs for goods and services will further compound the economy. It’s time for immediate action.
