The good and the bad

I REFER to Mr McGrath’s letter (March 14).

I believe I am beginning to understand his point of view.

All that is wrong, all crime that is committed and also the past, future and present outlook for all political parties is the responsibility of Fianna Fáil.

All the bankers who speculated, bankers who lied and medical consultants who insisted on special treatment in the HSE were all Fianna Fáil.

Together they “ruined” the country.

The “good” people spent almost their entire career on the opposition benches and were not at all opportunistic when the country needed to focus to plan for recovery. These “good” people are now going to follow the plan they refused to support a few weeks ago. But it’s entirely different now because the “good” people are sitting on the Government benches.
