Appeal for legal photographs

THE Bar Council has developed a photographic archive of various legal people and places throughout the years.

This has been developed over the last three years through legal sources in the Bar. In order to add to this collection and preserve the memories and history of the legal profession in Ireland, we are hoping that your readers may be able to add to this archive from their own collections.

In building this collection we hope to preserve memories of the past and restore images which may otherwise be lost for future generations.

All photographs will be digitally copied and returned, with a digital copy of the image forwarded to the owner.

We look forward to exhibiting the collection later in the year.
