Reform Seanad to run local affairs

INSTEAD of abolishing the Seanad, could we not use it the same way the Dáil is used and have it run the local councils around the country. As we know we have a lot of local and urban councils doing nothing and costing too much.

Reform Seanad to run local affairs

The senators would represent the people of each county and be in charge of running each county and answerable to the public.

We could have 4-6 senators per county, who will be responsible for the running of their area.
