Not what we voted for

THE electorate were not offered a Programme for Government based on compromise between Labour and Fine Gael.

No one voted for this. According to news reports, it is unlikely that the electorate will be told any details of what we can expect from a pact. If this is the sign of things to come, no thanks.

I think the democratic thing to do is to ask the electorate. The people have voted and are now being overridden by a secret pact.
