Nothing has changed in a land struggling with economic and moral crisis

THE fact that we are where we are may not be entirely due to the unseemly behaviour of the spineless scoundrels whose function it was to govern this country or in the clandestine activities that have brought the country to its knees.

Wouldn’t there be at least a grain of truth in the supposition that in a democracy the people invariably get the government that they deserve.
