Fighting depression - A welcome initiative

EVEN before our economy imploded, depression and its attendant sorrows had become one of the plagues of our age.

The hardships and sacrifice of recent years must have exacerbated the situation.

Hardly a family in the country escaped having a loved one struggle to make sense of their life, of their deep and powerful feelings of despair and pointlessness. Very many families, far, far too many, had to face the ultimate and terrifying consequences of this illness.
