A sick feeling

NO wonder poor Brian Cowen has been underachieving and not living up to the promise he showed early in his political career.

The man has been weighed down with secrets, particularly those associated with the golf and dinner with Seanie FitzPatrick and, course that unfortunate phone call.

I imagine having to hide all these things for so long within himself, has taken its toll.

A saying of an old teacher of mine comes to mind and Brian in his own interest would be advised to take heed of it and act on it from now on.

My teacher used to say: ’Your secrets will make you sick’ or ’You are only as sick as our secrets.’
