Fat cat trips

SINCE it is, now, apparent that neither the Government, the county councils nor the NRA have any idea how to deal with the recent weather conditions, a fact-finding trip to one of the Scandinavian countries would be an idea, just to see how it should be done.

But, please, not one of those spouse-accompanied jaunts, staying in luxury hotels, drunken singing and dining in top restaurants.

Actually, there is no need for a junket, since all the needed information can be got from the internet and by a few telephone calls.

The same is true of all the other fat cat trips, throughout the year, which are, really, rewards for failure.
