Some air passengers more equal than others

ARTICLE 7 of Aer Lingus’s terms and conditions is called ‘Right to Refuse Carriage’ and section 7.1.3 says the airline may refuse carriage if “your mental or physical state, including your impairment from alcohol or drugs, presents a hazard or risk to yourself, to passengers, to crew or to property”.

But if you’re sitting in the front row, dosed up on painkillers, drunk as a skunk, a little bit famous and exposing yourself , it’s all right, is it?
