COULD disability payments be pegged to pensions?

In the last budget, the payments for the former were cut but not the latter, despite needs being similar.

It is feasible something similar could occur in the December budget. People with chronic illnesses or disabling conditions seem to be forgotten in many of these discussions and could benefit from the lobbying for older people.
